What to expect when you visit

Calvary United Methodist Church is a small but mighty congregation.  All are welcome and invited to join us for worship or fellowship.  Whether you’re a lifelong church-goer or a first-timer, you will find a warm, friendly welcome at Calvary Church!

Worship services are on Sundays at 11:00AM led by Pastor Jim Fu.  We meet in person as well as broadcast via Zoom.  Our worship style tends to be traditional, yet informal.  Our one-hour services typically include singing of traditional and more contemporary hymns, prayers, scripture reading, and a sermon.

We normally celebrate communion together on the first Sunday of the month. All are welcome to participate in the sharing of the cup and bread.

“Come as you are comfortable” is the dress code.

Children of all ages are always welcome in worship.

During the week, there are several opportunities for prayer and study, as well as service in the community.

Our church is on the corner of Summit and Highland Avenues in Villa Park.  There is ample parking in the lot behind the church and on the street nearby.

We have handicap parking and a handicapped accessible ramp on the north side of the building connected to the parking lot leading up to the Sanctuary.  We also have chair lifts to the main and lower floors at the south/Highland Ave entrance.
